Summary
This updates the OpenCL C++ library we vendor to v2025.07.22 and fixes a few issues I found in the opencl part of the math library with the upgrade.
Tests
On my machine I was getting small numeric errors for exp_mod_normal_lcdf.hpp, gumbel_cdf.hpp, and std_normal_lcdf.hpp. So I used a bit of claude and updated those to be more numerically stable. For one test I was getting an answer that was off by 1e-7, in the adjoints. So for that I updated the opencl tests so that we could pass a relative error tolerance like we do in the
expect_adtesting framework.Release notes
Update OpenCL C++ to use v2025.07.22
