Why i am also creating a codeberg with the same name (codeberg.org/666hwll)
- because i can just use 'git' standalone like you could before Github enforced 2FA
- it is hosted and managed in Germany, so it must adhere to EU and DSGVO laws
- made and funded by developers; funded over donations and not over AI promises
- Open Source Nature of Forgejo
- stil receiving updates and projects, but not all, just like before
- my poor raspberry pi 4b doesn't need to be my ssh-git-server anymore, running on nothing but microsd-cards, wifi and energy
- Codeberg is intended as open source playground, Github is my public representation
