[Bug] Grass blocks disappearing in my sheep farm #1451

Bug description
I made a sheep farm and for some reason random grass blocks in the corner keep disappearing and my sheep fall through the hole. I have no idea what is causing this and it's unlike anything I've ever seen before.
To Reproduce
Make a sheep farm near a desert biome and make the floor dirt/grass blocks and just wait I guess?
Expected behavior
For grass blocks not to just disintegrate.
