Are all the data DNS(direct numerical simulation)?

Actually, it's quite important to know whether the datas are DNS or LES.
I didn't see any detaile description in the paper and the main page.

The paper did not specify what is the implementation for the interface conditions for example, how the interface is resolved on a 128x128 grid.
